Join us in “Celebrating a Michigan Cycling Destination”. The event is a family friendly celebration of the great trails surrounding scenic Milford.

This year we will reward the warriors who ride all 100 miles!   You must register ahead of time for this option if you anticipate completing this challenge.  You must also be able to show your work through strava or some GPS-aided device.

Guided Rides – Mountain Bike

This year’s guided group rides will get people out on trails that will help you test your skills, explore a new trail, and make some new friends!  The start time for these rides will aim to get you back to the afterparty at Main Street Grill with enough time to settle in and relax.

All rides will have a handful of volunteers that are knowledgeable about the trails and the planned route.  The groups will start around the same time and split up as needed to accommodate different skill levels and paces.  These rides are all a mix of dirt roads, paved paths, and singletrack.  All rides will begin and end at Main Street Grill in downtown Milford (start time and meetup details will be explained closer to the date).  If you want a pre-ride warm up or if you finish early and have some energy to burn, Milford trail is just around the corner!

All ride times are an approximation, erring on the side of caution to give riders plenty of time to complete the route.  Riders should still plan to be self-sufficient in terms of hydration, fueling needs, and bike repairs.  Carry plenty of water, Gu/granola bars, spare tube, cell phone, ID and must wear a helmet.

Highland Full – Stories of this trail often leave people intimidated due to its technical nature.  This ride will connect to the trail via dirt roads, enter the trail network through the side entrance off of Beaumont Rd, and then aim to do all 4 loops of the Highland trail network to reap ultimate bragging rights (D loop will be available as an advanced option).  Intermediate skill level highly recommended.
Mileage – 25 miles
Estimated time – 2-4 hours total

Highland Lite – If you have been wanting to give this trail a try, but aren’t ready for 16 miles and just want to get your feet wet, this is the ride for you.  Take dirt roads to the trailhead on Livingston Rd, ride the A loop, and if you are feeling confident, ride the first half of B.  Meet back up at the trailhead for the 4 mile dirt road cooldown.
Mileage – 13-17 miles
Estimated time – 2-3 hours

Milford to Commerce Grand Tour – Explore the trails less traveled and see how far they can take you!  This ride will explore the connectivity between Milford, Proud Lake, Hickory Glen, and the Kensington Connector.  This ride will connect from downtown Milford into Proud Lake, through paved paths in Commerce Township, to Hickory Glen (approx.. 6 miles of singletrack), then back through Proud Lake and the Kensington Connector back to Milford.  This ride will be a mix of singletrack, paved path, two-track, and dirt roads.
Mileage – Approx 25-30 miles
Estimated time – 3-4 hours

Guided Rides – For the Family

These rides are for the not-so-serious so the whole family can get in on the fun.  Volunteers will be on hand to help guide the way.  These rides will be all on paved path, no mountain bikes required, ride whatever you have!  If you cannot make the group ride time slot, these routes are easy enough to do as a self-guided tour!

Ice Cream Ride – Take the paved path from downtown Milford to the Milford road entrance to
Kensington Metropark.  This will conveniently stop at the Dairy Queen (also options for Bakers and Holdens across the street) before making your way back to Milford.
Mileage – 5 miles

Kensington Metropark – Connect into Kensington Metropark the same way as the Ice Cream Ride, loop around the 8.5 mile loop before making your way back to downtown Milford.
Mileage – 13.5 miles
