Bike Clinics

There are two sure ways to become a better mountain biker: spend a lot of time learning through trial and error; or learn from someone with expertise and training on how to share their knowledge. The latter is a far more efficient way to learn, and usually establishes better form and habits to build on, which is why we’re excited to offer new beginner and intermediate skills clinics with certified MTB coaches.

Learn and practice the foundational skills of mountain biking that will allow you to roll through your favorite trail with more ease. Improve balance and confidence on your bike to keep those wheels rolling, then progress to the next level under the supervision of Coach Heather McNamara (BICP Board and Certified Level 2, PMBIA Level 1, First Aid/CPR certified) and her team!

    Update from the MCMBA Board

It’s been an unusual summer for trail work. Aside from an early spring trail day or two, most of our work on trails this year has been a solitary effort—one person in the forest making a difference. Despite the challenges a lot has been accomplished over the past few months. Several miles of new trail…
