FILLMORE TRAIL DAY 2025

DATE: Sunday April 6th 2025

TIME: 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM

MEETING LOCATION: Parking Lot of Fillmore Park. Arrive at 12:45 pm to check in with Neal Glazebrook.

Start to head into the woods at 1 PM after signing waivers and a short orientation and waiver signing.

PLEASE BRING: Rakes, Pruners, backpack or handheld blowers, weed whips, motorized pruners, shovels, axes, pick axes, bug & tick spray, your preferred PPE. We need 1 or 2 wheelbarrows for the rock collecting described below. All minors must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED: We are going to clear out the trail tread that was cut last year from winter debris of deadfall, leaves, debris, and undergrowth on the Upland Woods Loop. We will also be working on cutting access from Kellogg Road and scouting some of the farm field for future trail development. We will also start harvesting rocks for trail armoring before the growth fills in for the season.

Any questions please contact Trail Coordinator, Neal Glazebrook.
