Michigan Bicycling Expo


The Michigan Mountain Biking Association is teaming up with The League of Michigan Bicyclists and the Michigan Trails & Greenways Association to present the first annual Michigan Bicycling Expo!

When: January 26, 2014

Where: Michigan State University Pavilion 4301 Farm Lane, East Lansing, MI 48824

The Michigan Bicycling Expo is open to the general public. It is a great opportunity to connect with passionate cyclists of all disciplines, find great deals with the vendors, and to celebrate the advocacy efforts of the past year. This year’s expo will feature:

  • an indoor riding arena;
  • Championship Points Series (CPS) awards;
  • a raffle; guest speakers;
  • a swap meet;
  • MMBA Annual Board Meeting;
  • and a concession stand serviced by MSU.

    Our volunteers contribute in a variety of ways, from simply trimming branches, to organizing fund raising events with hundreds of participants, to designing some of the best trails in America. We track volunteer work hours and reward our outstanding volunteers at the end of each year.

    Trail design, development, and maintenance are key components of the MCMBA and mountain biking in Michigan.  Our trail design volunteers are trained by IMBA using standards developed by the National Park Service and National Forest Service.
