Congratulations to our 2015 FAFL winners!

Please join us in thanking our MCMBA FAFL winners for 2015!

As we announced back in April, we’ve expanded our FAFL volunteer appreciation program to include all volunteer contributions to the chapter this year, not just trail work. To qualify, each of these volunteers reported at least 10 hours of boots on the ground trailwork or at least 30 hours of time on other chapter activities, such as helping to organize a race, hosting a riding clinic, or on duty as a National Mountain Bike Patroller. But that really doesn’t tell the whole story – the average FAFL winner this year volunteered a full 40 hour work week on the trails, or three 40 hour work weeks on other activities!

TREE FARM EROSION FIXES AND NEW FEATURES

The rooty, eroded rutted out tight downhill in the Pines has been upgraded with big carveable berms and a rock pile that is rollable or jumpable. You can also bypass it by continuing on the berm next to it. It’s a fun improvement that should flow better, drain better, slow down the brake bumps and…
